Steps:

1. Hold one end of the waist bead strand in each hand. Your hands should be on opposite sides of your waist, with the strand going around your back.

2. Cross each end of the string so the knot will sit where you want your waist beads to be tied.

3. Cross and tie the strings. Ensure that no beads are caught in your knot.

4. Make 5-7 knots. Use scissors the dangling ends about 0.5 inches from the knot. For extra security, use a lighter to burn the very end of the dangling pieces of string.

5. Enjoy your new waist bead!
